My Journey Building AI Systems at PES University
My work at PES University has focused on building practical AI systems rather than isolated tutorials. The projects that shaped my engineering perspective—including VaidyaOS, AgriSence, and CareerLens—each started from a real human challenge and evolved into a production systems architecture project.
Core Focus Areas
I repeatedly focused on three foundational themes:
- Healthcare AI: Privacy-preserving edge triage and clinical accessibility.
- Agriculture AI: Real-time multimodal crop diagnostics for farmers.
- Multi-Agent Orchestration: Moving from simple prompt wrappers to distributed, rule-checked agent swarms.
Hackathons as Systems Pressure Testing
Hackathons provided the ideal sandbox to pressure-test architectural ideas under extreme constraints. Winning national hackathons (such as Meta PyTorch and Google Gen AI) was rewarding, but the most lasting value was mastering how to scope, architect, deploy, and pitch complex distributed systems in 48 hours.
Where I am Headed
My engineering direction remains constant: building intelligent AI systems that unite modern model capability with high-throughput backend architecture, rigorous offline resilience, and undeniable real-world value.
